If you want to protect the surface of your Analogue Pocket, smartphone, or other device, you should consider ceramic coating it. Ceramic coating has become mainstream in the automotive industry, due to its ability to protect surfaces. Ceramic coating is a liquid that is applied to a surface (e.g. a car's paint, your phone, your handheld). Once cured, the coating is invisible, about 2 microns thick, and is extremely hard. You won't even know it is there. Think of it as invisible scratch armor.
What does it do? It increases the hardness of whatever surface it is applied to, making it more resistant to light scratches and wear. It also makes the surface easier to clean. If you use a case on your device, you should really consider ceramic coating it to prevent debris trapped inside the case from damaging your device over time.
